As an Executive Producer for the Narrative Portfolio, you will be a visionary leader in our game development process, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring excellence across a large portfolio of games. You will leverage your deep and authoritative understanding of the craft to influence overall game strategy and deliver high-quality outcomes. Your role will involve managing a team of producers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with the Narrative GM, be a driver for identifying significant opportunities and refining title vision, strategies and roadmaps in the context of broader organizational strategies and goals. Incorporate data, research and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps.

  • Game Production Excellence: Demonstrate expertise as a game producer, focusing on the game readiness, quality, predictability, impact, and performance of the titles in your portfolio

  • People Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of producers with varying degrees of expertise, guiding them to achieve consistent S-tier outcomes.

  • Studio Relationship Building: Build and maintain excellent relationships at the studio head, director, and lead levels, fostering collaboration and innovation.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Build bridges to connect strategic destinations, solving complex issues across wider cross-functional partnerships.

  • Project Vision and Strategy: Deeply understand each new game’s intended audience and ensure the game vision and feature choices align with the tastes of the audience

  • Franchise/Portfolio Game Readiness: Own franchise or portfolio-level game readiness excellence, working closely with the General Manager to ensure predictability and high quality execution of the GM’s portfolio strategy

  • Portfolio Management: Manage and be accountable for a large portfolio of games or programs, ensuring predictable and high-quality outcomes. Oversee large budgets and maintain a strong internal stakeholder network.

  • Strategic Initiative Ownership: Identify and drive initiatives central to the growing success of the team, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

  • Proactive Problem Solving: Think several steps ahead to proactively solve problems and avoid unnecessary friction, maintaining an outstanding risk register.

  • Game Champion: Serve as an internal title champion/evangelist, crafting and presenting product updates to various audiences, providing visibility into milestones and challenges, and ensuring optimal product information for market delivery.

  • Team Culture: Work cross-functionally to create a healthy team culture that is communicative, transparent, motivated, committed, and focused on realistic goals.

Qualifications:

  • 11+ years of experience in Video Game Production, with expertise in both Publishing and Development.

  • Proven track record in managing large portfolios and delivering high-quality game production outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of game development processes, including design, programming, art, and audio.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex ideas and presenting to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills to assess progress and address development challenges.

  • Experience in managing project budgets and making cost-effective decisions without compromising quality.

  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes and coordinating testing to ensure high standards.

  • Leadership skills to motivate teams and maintain a positive, productive environment.

  • Up-to-date with industry trends, player preferences, and competitive landscape.

  • Openness to feedback and adaptability to changing project requirements.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $160,000 - $610,000.
