Today
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in English, Political Science, or related field plus 6 months of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- Experience and/or education with the following:
- Editorial newsroom setting experience, including experience pitching and editing content aimed at a large audience.
- Writing editorial content, including optimizing headlines for a digital audience
- Evaluating user concerns and partnering with editorial team on preservation of News quality standards
- Investigating content and technical issues related to individual articles and publishers, and experience working at the intersection of tech and media
- Supporting feature enhancements per roadmap, facilitating operations and leading meetings between Editorial and Engineering teams, including experience acting as liaison between cross-functional teams
- Experience leading day-to-day progress of tasks, and leading multiple complex and cross-functional projects.
- Using Keynote, Numbers and Excel.
- Experience in digital publishing and Content Management Systems
- Working with news and publishers in international markets, and collaborating with teams globally.
