Minimum Qualifications
  • JD degree and Bar admission in any jurisdiction with good standing, with 5+ years of relevant experience at a law firm and/or in-house.
  • Legal experience in software and cloud services industries .
  • Detailed knowledge of commercial, contract and business law. Knowledge of intellectual property and data protection law.
  • Complex contract negotiation and drafting skills, with the ability to discuss issues in a clear and simple manner both in writing and orally for a broad range of issues and contracts, including but not limited to licensing, warranties, indemnities, and limitations of liability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience and familiarity with data privacy such as GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws, as well as as-a-service offerings.
  • Understanding of and experience applying revenue recognition and other financial principles common to a US-based publicly traded company.
  • CIPP/E certification is a plus.
