What will you do?

• Develop and maintain software to automatically provision, upgrade, monitor, and heal Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.

• Work with technical leads and the business to understand feature requirements. Help break requirements down into smaller units of work.

• Ability to work on-site or Hybrid in Bangalore, India

• Contribute to all aspects of product delivery, including design/architecture, development, testing, documentation, and deployment.

What will you bring?

• Passion for learning new technologies, building elegant software systems, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and automation.

• Software development experience using Python or Golang.

• Experience with utilizing container management platforms and development environments like Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker/Docker Compose

• Experience with other configuration management and infrastructure as code tooling such as HashiCorp Terraform

• Advanced knowledge of software development life cycle tools, like GitHub and Jenkins.

• Software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile or scrum processes

• Ability to coordinate and help others solve difficult problems

• Strong written and spoken English skills

• Able to work in a fast-paced project.

The following is considered a plus:

• Writing Ansible playbooks and administering the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform

• Familiarity with observability platforms (such as Dynatrace, DataDog, etc) are a plus.

• Cloud native development/administration experience

• Prior experience working on a globally distributed, remote team

• Working on large-scale projects utilizing version control, open-source experience

• Cloud skills
