How you’ll spend your day

  • Launch Readiness
  • Cross-Functional Leadership : Lead cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, regulatory, and medical affairs, to ensure a coordinated approach to product launches.
  • Stakeholder Engagement : Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, to gather insights and support for launch initiatives.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure launch success and develop reports to communicate progress to senior leadership.
  • Budget Management : Create and oversee launch budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with product launches and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement through post-launch evaluations and learnings to enhance future launch strategies.
    • Improving Operational Efficiency: champions the needs of launch teams with stakeholders to address key barriers to execution and improve ways of working.
    • Lead special projects as assigned by Senior Director Commercial Excellence that bring value and considerably impact the business and operations
    • Rigorous strategic agility, demonstrated by an ability to understand complex business obstacles/opportunities and use sound judgment to set objectives and direction to drive results.
    • Effective interpersonal and presentation (written and verbal) skills that can translate through leaders and the ability to effectively engage senior leadership.
Your experience and qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Experience : Minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with at least 5 years in U.S. launch management.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience leading complex U.S. product launches

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Leadership Skills : Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics, including marketing, supply chain, regulatory requirements, market access, etc…
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences to drive organizational alignment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Innovation Orientation: Demonstrated ability to drive innovative thinking and implement best practices in product launch strategies.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Occasional:
Sitting for extended periods of time at work station or mobile equipment.

Visual Acuity:
Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.


WORKING ENVIRONMENT

May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).

Compensation Data

The annual starting salary for this position is between $175,600 – 230,475,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
