Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Infrastructure Engineer in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The essential responsibilities include: responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products; takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code; consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs; makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront; takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards; conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures; accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices; exhibits relentless focus in software reliability engineering standards embedded into development standards; embraces emerging technology opportunities and contributes to the best practices in support of the bank's technology transformation; contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement; reviews tasks critically and ensures they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery; and anticipates and communicates blockers and delays before they require escalation. In addition, the Infrastructure Engineer works on the Cloud Migration Team and is responsible for migrating apps to Azure; performs solution, design and review of Target State Architecture for Azure migration; utilizes cloud native technologies like Azure Batch, Azure Functions and Azure Storage; uses Azure Data Factory for Azure migration; modernizes application architecture by using Azure SQL DB, Azure SQL MI, and Azure Blob/File Storage; and develops CI/CD Pipelines using Gitlabs to deploy infrastructure and application into Azure.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus 5 years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Software Engineer, or related

Required Skills/Experience:
Must have 5 years of experience with: architecting and building solutions in Microsoft Azure; Cloud Information Management; Azure Pipelines; YAML; developing CI/CD processes; Azure Migrate; Azure App Service; Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS); Azure Application Gateway; Front Door; Azure Functions; Azure Virtual Machines; Azure Storage, Azure SQL DB/MI, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Event Hub, Azure Event Grid; Perl; PHP; C#; Git; and DevOps.Telecommuting available anywhere in US. HQ at 800 Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis, MN 55402. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $135,200.00- $
