Key job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain PFMEA and control plans throughout the life cycle of a process. Use PFMEA to identify potential failures, their effects, and implement preventive actions.- Own disposition of defective equipment by developing metrics and maintain a quarantine cage.- Drive the resolution of issues identified.- Manage the process/product quality audit program. Document audit findings and ensure proper corrective actions are taken.- Manage change management requests and obtain approvals from appropriate stakeholders.- Serve as the primary quality contact on the production floor. Communicate relevant quality-related details at the start and end of each shift.- Assist in and facilitate process improvement initiatives, providing subject matter expertise and support.- Assist in the roll-out of new processes and equipment by performing quality inspections and trial runs.- Own and develop standard policies and procedures for processes within operations. - 4+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
- Bachelor's degree

- Experience working with and managing third party vendors
- Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
