業務内容 / Responsibilities
● タックスエンゲージメントのライフサイクル全体を通じて、割り当てられたタスクを管理し、完了させる－機会の創出、契約上の考慮事項、設定、特に以下の事項を支援するためのサポートとガイダンスを提供する
● 利用可能なツール（SAP Mercuryやその他のツール）を使用したタスクを監視し、完了を確認する
● 集約された請求チームを監督する
● チームのジュニアメンバーの仕事をレビューし、必要に応じてフィードバックを提供する
● ジュニアチームメンバーのオンボーディングと育成を支援し、実地研修（OJT）を提供し、その他の研修の必要性を特定する
● 標準プロセスに従っていることを確認し、効率的な作業原則をサポートするためのプロセス改善を提案する
● ビジネスにおける主要なステークホルダーと良好な仕事上の関係を築き、定期的な連絡を維持する
● 必要に応じて、クライアントおよびサードパーティと連絡調整する
● クライアントサービングチームに対する財務担当連絡先 としての役割を果たし、社内会議への参加を提案し、研修会を開催する
● 必要に応じてニアショアまたはオフショアのサポートチームと連携し、タスクがタイムリーに提供され、仕事の質が高いようにする
● 他のCOTやチームと協力して、ワークロードを管理し、リソースの共有をサポートする
● 他のCOTや主要なステークホルダーとベストプラクティスを共有し、対象分野の専門家として活動する
● アドホックプロジェクトをリードする
● 割り当てられたL1のカウンセラーとしての役割を果たす
● 現地採用か、別の国のEYオフィスと下請け契約を結んでいるかにかかわらず、すべてのエンゲージメント設定要件を完全に遵守するために従うべきプロセスに関する詳細な知識を示す
● 必要に応じて、Tax Qualityチーム、Tax Legal チーム、Central Risk Managementチームと連携する
● 契約上の考慮事項やデータプライバシー要件について詳細に理解する
● すべてのQRM手続きとポリシーの遵守を積極的に管理・監視する

Finance Intermediate/ Assistant Manager
To be a key member of the Client Operation Assistant (“COT”) team initiating pursuits, AML assessments, coordinating and completing role-based tasks that occur throughout the lifecycle of an engagement using project management and communication skills. The Contracts Management Team delivers a consistent and expert service, working with the Client Serving Teams, to ensure that all engagements are set up, comply fully with all regulatory requirements while also following best practice principles and being run efficiently.

-the regular review of engagement economics; and
Monitoring and ensuring the completion of tasks using the tools available (SAP Mercury and other tools)
Ensuring standard processes are followed and suggest process improvements to support efficient working principles
Liaising with clients and third parties, as applicable
Working with nearshore or offshore support teams as required to ensure tasks are delivered on a timely basis and work is of a high quality
Leading on ad hoc projects
Acting as the Counsellor for allocated L1s
Supporting Quality and Risk Management (QRM) compliance
Demonstrating detailed knowledge of the process to be followed to fully comply with all engagement set up requirements whether locally engaged or under a subcontract arrangement with an EY office in a different country
Having a detailed understanding of contract considerations and data privacy requirements
Proactively managing and monitoring compliance with all QRM procedures and policies

Good numerical and data analysis skills
Strong project co-ordination and management skills with proven ability to complete tasks on an accurate and timely basis
Ability to manage upwards to ensure that the project deliverables meet the agreed timetable
Strong decision-making skills demonstrating the ability to exercise good judgement

To qualify for this role, you must have
Bi-lingual in Japanese and English – written and spoken (intermediate level)
Solid experience gained in financial management and invoicing
Good experience of SAP Mercury
Good experience of Microsoft systems and databases
Good experience of working well under pressure
Strong experience of problem solving
Ideally, you’ll also have
Strong project management skills demonstrating the ability to plan and priorities work, meet deadlines and monitor budgets.
