As part of the Data Product Director role, you will:
Be part of the Associate Experience Product leadership team to deliver the future, intelligent digital workspace to drive efficiency, productivity and optimal value for every internal user at Capital One. We are a cross-functional team aligning product, tech, design, machine learning, risk and other horizontal partners as we work to create a real time, intelligent digital workspace of the future to support innovation and business across all corners of the company.
The Associate Experience Data Platform team is focused on driving two primary outcomes we need from our data ecosystem to enable real-time intelligent experiences ensuring 1) Identify and deliver the authoritative source of holistic Associate Identity information, their behaviors across company endpoints and associated user experience feedback through all internal workflows globally 2) This data is well-managed, is easy to find, understand, use and govern by all internal teams...with a foundation that can evolve over time.
Lead a team whose goal is to build in a data product for internal user observability, identity and experiential feedback across the internal digital workspace and tooling ecosystems at Capital One with simple to use, delightfully enriched experiences that will maximize productivity for the entire workforce.
Deeply understand customer needs, translating them into a data strategy and execution plan for simple, secure solutions to help enhance productivity across the Capital One
Drive the business and technology roadmaps while ensuring alignment to the overall organizational strategy, risk and security policies, principles, patterns and standards.
Partner with engineering teams to drive automation and self service capabilities that drive efficiencies for all Capital One internal customers.
Data Management - Focusing on embedding automated governance throughout the data lifecycle from data creation, to data publishing and transforming, to data deletion
In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas:

You’ll be responsible for fostering a strong agile discipline and inspiring teams to continuously improve delivery evidenced through key agility metrics
You’ll partner with Technology leaders to influence end-state architecture and drive secure, resilient, performant and scalable technology solutions that solve material customer and business problems
You’ll govern the responsible and efficient application of technology resources by assessing opportunities for reusing existing solutions, clearly defining minimum viable products, and always building with extensibility in mind

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 7 years of experience in digital product management
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data, Data Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or Cyber Security
MBA or Master’s degree
5+ years of experience in Agile product management
5+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
