Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in thermal management systems design, with a focus on liquid cooling.
  • 5 years of experience in thermal and hydraulic analysis tools (CFD, FEA, flow network modeling).
  • 5 years of experience with data center, manufacturing or mission critical facilities cooling systems, hydronic analysis, Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs) and chip-to-chiller architectures.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience designing and executing experiments for thermal model validation.
  • Understanding of thermal/hydraulic analysis, CAD (Solidworks), and pipe flow software (AFT Fathom).
  • Understanding of product design (DFMEA, DFM) and 10x thinking, including thermal design for AI products, passive and liquid cooling, and silicon packaging.
  • Knowledge of data center cooling technologies (evaporative, chillers), experimental methods, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of metrology and process interactions.
