5+ years of experience performing reliability testing including Mechanical Stress tests (Shock/Drop/Vibration testing), Environmental & Fatigue testing, and experience in Failure Analysis analytical and material characterization techniques (Optical Microscopy, X-Ray, SEM/EDS, FTIR, XPS etc.)
BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability, Materials, Optical, Industrial or similar),
MS/PhD in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability, Materials, Optical, Industrial or similar)
Strong understanding of the physics behind material properties (mechanical, electrical, and optical) and ability to use fundamental failure analysis methodology to derive a root cause of failure
Knowledge of reliability models, accelerated test models, and industry test standards (JEDEC, MIL, ASTM, IEEE)
Deep understanding of application of DOE (Design of Experiments) and FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis)
Strong statistical and data analytics skills - statistical process control and sampling methods
Extraordinary problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
Dynamic and “can do” attitude with a desire to work with a phenomenal team and product
Clear and consistent communication, including executive level presentation skills and ability to drive cross-functional teams
