Essential Requirements
- Demonstrated selling experience, hands-on implementation, or architecture experience with RedHat products (such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, OpenShift, or Ansible), gained at a vendor, partner, service provider, or customer environment.
- Ability to build relationships and engage effectively with key customer decision makers at multiple levels, including CIOs, enterprise architects, cloud/infrastructure teams, application owners, and DevOps stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of open-source principles, hybrid cloud, DevSecOps, security, and application modernization as enabled by RedHat solutions.
- Certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration, or comparable industry qualifications are strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with IT frameworks such as ITIL or TOGAF, and a solid grasp of multi-cloud architecture, security best practices, and automation solutions.
Desirable Requirements
• Senior-level sales engineer with expertise in sophisticated products and services offerings.
• 12+ years of field sales experience or related experience in a relationship selling role with a bachelor’s degree.
SKILLS
- Advanced understanding of RedHat’s portfolio (including but not limited to OpenShift, Ansible Automation Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Satellite).
- Experience in leading technical workshops, proof-of-concept deployments, and collaborative solution development engagements with customers.
- Strong communication, presentation, and project leadership skills, with an ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technology execution.
- Proven capability to mentor and enable both customers and internal teams on RedHat solution adoption and industry-leading best practices.
