This individual will work closely with SMEs to achieve the target state objectives and outcomes. This is currently an Individual Contributor role with leadership expectations to affect change.
* You must report on site three times a week to the office in Getzville. This role cannot be done remotely.
Responsibilities
- Redesign the Workforce Management planning framework and processes to provide Finance and its disciplines with actual data on various factors (e.g., location, job grade, job profile, skills). This would require enhanced controls, clear timelines, and accountability.
- Support and help define Finance-specific resource strategies, including location, organizational design principles, sourcing, and monitor adherence and implementation across Finance disciplines.
- Program management abilities and ability to facilitate on demand status across global institution
- Partner closely with Citi’s forecasting teams (LFO) to align and revamp our cycle process to drive greater transparency and operational practices while minimizing staffing adequacy risk.
- Provide executive level governance and status reporting.
- Provide input and requirements into related firm-wide initiatives (e.g., Resources@Citi) and implement/roll out within Finance.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance governance metrics and reporting across diverse stakeholders (executive level and execution level, while being able to leverage for regulatory commitments)
- Optimize Finance onboarding processes and oversight reporting for new resources, working with SMEs in human resources (e.g., talent acquisition and learning and development).
- Create and maintain oversight on transformation and BAU headcount reporting, including ACT reporting.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
- Required to dive into details, to support and drive strategic approach.
- Excellent presentation skills – executive level
- Demonstration of executing diverse operational BOW and defined results inclusive of re-engineering
- Subject matter expertise and desire to be in workforce management, including planning, reporting and location strategy.
- Program management
- Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to see the big pictures with high attention to critical details.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy and process improvement initiatives.
- Advanced Microsoft office skills
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with and confidence in delivering presentations to clients and senior management.
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- At least 8 -10 years overall experience.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills and the ability to multi-task effectively in a high-volume environment
- Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and provide direction with judgement and authority to enable effective validation with senior stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree, Masters Preferred.
