Product Marketing Manager, Banking Financial Services and Insurance - Remote, Austin, TX (Hybrid Office) or Redwood City, CA (Hybrid office)

In the role of, you will report directly to the Senior Director of Product Marketing and be integral to shaping the growth strategy within the banking, financial services and Insurance sector. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing go-to-market (GTM) initiatives to enhance brand awareness and generate demand. These efforts aim to empower our sales team and partners to achieve significant success. Ideal candidates will have experience in enterprise/SaaS software, cloud, and AI, along with a strong understanding of marketing strategies and tactics. Additionally, you should possess the capability to craft messaging and marketing campaigns.


Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

  • Bring a deep understanding of banking, financial services and Insurance, including regulatory environments, challenges, and opportunities. Serve as the voice of the market within the organization, ensuring alignment between product, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Conduct research and stay ahead of emerging banking, financial services and insurance trends and innovations, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Develop and own the go-to-market strategy for the vertical, aligning product messaging with industry pain points and business opportunities. Gather insights from customers, sales, and field teams to refine messaging, strategy, and product development.
  • Present insights, strategies, and results to leadership to ensure alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Drive thought leadership by creating compelling content like white papers, blogs, and webinars that position Informatica as an innovator in the industry.
  • Craft messaging and value propositions tailored to banking, financial services and Insurance customers.
  • Build industry-specific stories that resonate with buyers, including key use cases and customer success stories.
  • Collaborate closely with product teams to translate technical capabilities into language that BFSI audiences understand and value.
  • Partner with sales teams to ensure they have the knowledge, tools, and collateral needed to sell into BFSI accounts effectively.
  • Create industry-specific assets like pitch decks, case studies, ROI calculators, and solution briefs.
  • Deliver targeted training sessions to equip sales teams with an understanding of the BFSI market, buyer personas, and objection-handling techniques.
  • Work with the field marketing team to design and execute campaigns targeting banking, financial services and insurance accounts.
  • Understand and influence the buyer journey by identifying key decision-makers and designing campaigns that effectively engage them and fuel the pipeline.
  • Identify opportunities to showcase the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences. Partner with teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Identify opportunities to turn customers into advocates by building relationships and developing compelling case studies and joint marketing initiatives.
  • Track the effectiveness of industry-specific marketing efforts using data and metrics and manage budget.
  • Ensure we remain competitive in BFSI by articulating unique differentiators and continuously evolving the go-to-market approach.

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of product marketing experience
  • Exceptional storytelling and ability to present in front of an audience

  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics and acumen in enterprise/SaaS software, cloud and AI

Role Essentials

  • 3+ years of banking, financial services and insurance industry experience
  • Ability to present in front of an audience on BFSI topics
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background, we will consider an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional experience
