In this position, you will experience every aspect of the software development lifecycle for a large-scale commercial product and its accompanying services. Your role will involve managing a team of talented engineers overseeing the successful implementation of essential features that drive Microsoft cloud for sustainability suite of products.This team is responsible for a charter thatis amongst the most dynamic and exciting across the industry,involving - big data scale, machine learning, AI, LLM and real-time insights. The challenges you will tackle are as tough and groundbreaking as they come

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/Engineering/Mathematics or equivalent
• 9+ years of industry software engineering experience using at least two of the following C#/Java, HTML5/JavaScript/React, SQL, Spark/Python
• 3+ years of experience in designing and building high-scale cloud services, preferably using Microsoft stack of technologies.
• 2+ years of people management experience with managing team of 6 or more direct reports
• Strong architecture, design, coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design performant, highly usable, scalable, world-ready, accessible software
• Outstanding communication skills and collaboration capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Full-Stack development experience building data, logic tier and user experience software.
• Excited to work on the intersection of distributed systems, scale/big data, AI and LLM
• Sound knowledge of distributed systems, micro-services architectures
• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse & Power Platform, or other Dynamics 365 Apps
• Ability to take initiative, lead in ambiguous situations, and produce results

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of diverse software engineers
• Design, implement and operate end-to-end product experiences. We expect you to lead the technical architecture, design & code reviews, and delivery of projects, interfacing with other disciplines.
• Collaborate with product manager to prioritize, estimate, and schedule feature work for the planned releases.
• Collaborate with your engineering peers across US and India to effectively deliver on time and with high quality.​
• Conduct periodic on call duties and live site support
