Data System Engineer, Reality Labs Research Responsibilities
- Develop and implement protocols and pipelines for automated sensor evaluation
- Process and analyze sensor signal for SOP sensor performance evaluation
- Develop GUIs and tools for sensor data visualization and exploration
- Implement machine learning models for wearable sensor signals
Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, applied math, sensing & control, robotics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience with sensor data modeling, analysis, and visualization
- 3+ years of experience with coding with Python and software engineering best practices (version control, code reviews)
- Solid understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) and sensor characterization
- Experience developing GUIs, data visualization & exploration tools
- Experience implementing, debugging, fine-tuning machine learning models
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree and 1+ years of industry experience
- Experience bringing-up and debugging prototype/scientific software-hardware systems (e.g., wearable sensing systems, multi-camera sensing/tracking solutions like OptiTrack, etc.)
- Experience with sensor fusion, human-computer interaction (HCI), human–machine collaboration, machine learning, deep learning, or related fields
- Experience with C or C++ programming and virtual reality (VR) application development
- Experience with MATLAB
