Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manages multiple projects through direct reports and may directly manage individual software development projects. Ensures project delivery through supervision of costs, methods, and staffing
  • Sets operational targets that impact their group and drives operational rigor around engineering KPIs such as unit test coverage, uptime/resiliency targets, execution velocity
  • Responsible for the delivery of projects and continuous improvement that impact up to three domains
  • Leads the effort in resolving highly complex or unique technical situations that impact business success or addresses future concepts, products, or technologies
  • Creates the roadmap for multiple scrum teams. Responsible for turning a high-level operational strategy into a well-defined resourcing plan
  • Demonstrates perseverance in pursuing difficult, complex, or ambiguous goals or problems, applying advanced analytical thought and judgment.
  • Collaborates with direct team, managers in org, stakeholders, managers in other orgs and business stakeholders

Expected Qualifications:

  • 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience leading others

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in software development with a minimum of 2 years leading a mobile development team.
  • Guide and mentor a team of Android, iOS and Web developers, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
  • Conduct evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team and individual progress.
  • Manage the planning and execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Cultivate a high-performing team culture that encourages collaboration with product managers, designers, and QA teams.
  • Ensure UI/UX designs are technically feasible, lead code reviews, and oversee architectural discussions to uphold high code quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively about project statuses, risks, and issues with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Advocate for best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability, fostering an environment open to questioning and innovative ideas.
  • What do you need to bring?
  • Prior experience in Ads tech, services, SDKs, platforms.
  • Proven leadership experience with strong skills in managing teams, problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing and aligning teams and cross-functional partners, technical and non-technical.
  • Proven ability to influence reports, peers and leadership chain, including SLT.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum practices and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $169,500 to $291,500
