Location: On-site (Dallas, TX)

The team you'll be part of:

Dallas GNOC team provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 monitoring and RTS support to a diverse set of Nokia clients of the North Americas Managed Services. Clients include major US Enterprise fiber backbone providers, multiple utility companies in the North American region, clients with current and legacy equipment who require RTS/OTS/RES support, and other clients who require a common triage point for their techs to obtain pass-through support from multiple vendors.

Education Recommendations:

Candidate must be pursuing an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 2 years left before degree completion. Must also be pursuing one of the qualified degree programs in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, IT Related, or a related field with an accredited school in the US and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.

The student will work from the Nokia NAM NOC located in Dallas, TX. where they will receive training. Due to the extensive training involved this program requires a(Minimum of 2 years left before degree completion). Applicants must submit to NSA background checks as part of screening before full participation can be enabled.


HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
  • Monitor various customer networks
  • Handle trouble tickets in different applications
  • Perform ticket triage and escalation
  • Use SharePoint and vendor resources
  • Perform daily audits
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral..
  • Interest in Telecommunications environment.
  • Previous employment involving participation as a team member.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Technical curricula, IP, and transport networks.
  • Previous call center experience.
