About the Role

As a Operations Manager, Cars Marketplace, you will help drive growth of some of the critical markets in India & South Asia. This will involve strategising growth opportunities and ensure that Uber is the first choice for our riders and driver partners. The right person for this job should have excellent problem solving and analytical skills, strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management experience, excellent time-management and organizational habits, and the ability to clearly communicate and present information.

What the Candidate Will Do

• You'll craft and execute the vision, strategy and day to day tactics for growth of Cars Business in India and South Asia.
• You will work collaboratively with local, regional and global stakeholders to improve the platform experience for drivers and riders by increasing platform attractiveness
• You'll work closely with global team to get products/features prioritised for the region
• Partner with critical functional areas (Product, Marketing, BD, Policy, Ops, Legal, Tax, etc.) as needed, to drive business objectives

What the Candidate Will Need

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience (management consulting, investment banking, operations, etc.)
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
• Experience leading cross-functional stakeholders in order to execute high-impact projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• SQL experience a plus
