Your Career

Palo Alto Networks has an exciting opportunity to be a foundational part of its Corporate Responsibility team, advancing its environmental, social and governance efforts for a more safe and secure digital future. As Manager, Corporate Responsibility Disclosures, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our strategy and impact through robust reporting and disclosures with investor-grade data. This position involves managing environmental, social and governance quantitative and qualitative data gathering, preparing consistent disclosures for various reporting vehicles and third-party evaluators, and ensuring alignment with global sustainability reporting standards. By collaborating with internal teams, you will be crucial for ensuring the integrity of both voluntary and mandatory Corporate Responsibility disclosures.

Your Impact

As Manager, Corporate Responsibility Disclosures, your contributions will convey Palo Alto Networks progress across environmental, social and governance topics, helping to maintain trust with key stakeholders (global customers, regulators, investors, employees, partners, etc.) and meet their expectations. Your key areas of impact will include:

  • Manage the annual Corporate Responsibility (CR) Report process, including narrative development, internal stakeholder engagement, support and evidence gathering, and metrics validation.

  • Collaborate with the SOX team to establish and maintain processes and controls that verify the accuracy and completeness of CR metrics and disclosures (including annual CR report, regulatory filings, customer inquiries, raters and rankers, and others).

  • Manage submissions and validation of data with key investor evaluators, including ISS (Institutional Shareholder Services Inc., MSCI (Morgan Stanley Capital International), Sustainalytics), S&P Global CSA (Corporate Sustainability Assessment) and others.

  • Support internal preparedness and readiness towards current and upcoming regulatory requirements, including California Climate Disclosures, EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive, EU Taxonomy, Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive and more.

  • Engage cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, Investor Relations, Legal, Marketing, Operations, Product, Sourcing and Subject Matter Experts across CR topics) to maintain accuracy, reliability, and completeness of disclosure content.

  • Draft narratives and ensure consistency of content across CR disclosures.

  • Analyze and recommend opportunities across evolving CR-related standards, frameworks and regulations.

Your Experience

  • 6-8+ years of related experience.

  • Familiarity with global frameworks and standards, such as GRI, SASB/ISSB, TCFD, ESRS or others is a plus.

  • Experience with voluntary CR evaluators with a proven track record in preparing and submitting reports. Knowledge of CR ratings methodologies is a plus.

  • Experience building well-controlled (SOX compliant) processes is preferred.

  • Proven track record in managing multiple complex projects at the same time

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including collaborative, adaptive and ability to develop and maintain trust with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to present metrics, explain findings, and articulate issues in a clear and concise manner.

  • Exceptional project management skills, able to multi-task and work well under pressure and tight deadlines.

  • Thrives in change and adapting to meet various stakeholder needs.

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $121000 - $196000/YR.
