Safety is its first priority, and focus is persistent in continuously demonstrating high safety consciousness in all aspects of flight operations. In addition to safety, all flight operations will be conducted in accordance with all applicable regulations, guidelines, procedures, and limitations as contained in aircraft flight manuals and applicable U.S. and international aviation regulatory agency rules and regulations as well as Citigroup Aviation standards and policy manuals.

The Aircraft Cabin Attendant isand is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Cabin Attendant Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all Citigroup Aviation standards and policies.
  • Assume any duties delegated or assigned by the Pilot-in-Command, the Manager of Cabin Services and/or the Director of Aviation.
  • Ensure passenger safety on board the aircraft while simultaneously providing premium food, beverage, and amenities service in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Requires initiative, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing circumstances in a dynamic environment.

Safety and Security:

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of safety equipment and procedures and be capable of handling abnormal and emergency situations professionally and efficiently.
  • Deliver appropriate passenger safety briefings in accordance with Citigroup Aviation policy and applicable government regulations.
  • Manage cabin services to ensure that the highest levels of safety, security and comfort are provided to passengers and crew.
  • Immediately notify the Pilot-in-Command of any abnormal or emergency situation in the cabin or of any inoperative equipment.
  • If required, provide appropriate emergency assistance to passengers and crew.
  • Notify the Pilot-in-Command and company maintenance of any system or equipment discrepancies.
  • Participate in the Citigroup Aviation Safety Management System.

Culinary and Food Service Expertise:

  • Thoroughly and thoughtfully plan for and design menus that are creative, diverse, and tailored to passenger preferences.
  • Plan and manage catering requirements, ensuring adequate quantities and quality of food and beverages are available for each flight.
  • Prepare and present gourmet meals and refreshments that meet the highest culinary standards, taking into consideration individual dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Sourcing, researching, and developing local sources for food provisioning at our most frequent destinations.
  • Leverage expertise in food plating and presentation, ensuring meals are visually appealing and appetizing.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, culinary innovations, and aviation regulations through continuous learning and training opportunities.

Customer Service:

  • Assist passengers with seating, personal effects, and luggage stowage.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by anticipating and responding to the needs of passengers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Offer personalized attention and ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for passengers throughout the flight.
  • Leverage excellent communication skills to effectively interact with passengers, crew member colleagues, and ground personnel.
  • Align all aspects of passenger service with Aviation and Company standards and comply with expense management policies.

Organization and Attention to Detail:

  • Maintain the aircraft cabin, galley, baggage compartment, and lavatories in a clean, orderly, safe, and secure fashion, according to Citigroup Aviation standards and policies.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all onboard connectivity technology, including cabin entertainment systems, satellite communications, printing, onboard device updates, passenger device management, networking basics, Ka-band operation, and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Effectively communicate passenger food, beverage, and service preferences with the Manager of Cabin Services and colleagues.
  • Provision and stock aircraft according to specific flight needs and in accordance with Citigroup Aviation standards and policies.
  • Maintain an inventory of necessary supplies, including food, beverages, and cabin equipment, in compliance with Citigroup Aviation standards and policies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in extensive international flying as a cabin attendant on large cabin, long-range aircraft for an FAR Part 91 or Part 135 operation. Experience in, and familiarity with, Bombardier and Gulfstream large cabin aircraft preferred.
  • Possess and maintain a record of completion from a certified, recognized training organization documenting training in aircraft emergency procedures, normal cabin and galley operations, food safety and preparation.
  • Proficiency and experience in the procurement, storage, preparation and presentation of food and beverage service, while maintaining high levels of food safety.
  • Demonstrated culinary training or relevant culinary experience required.
  • Demonstrate a passion for creating exceptional dining experience.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing schedules and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Evidence exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with passengers and colleagues.
  • Evidence a high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • Possess a current and valid United States Passport.
