RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate closely with go-to-market teams to lead in-depth discovery sessions, thoroughly understanding customer objectives, challenges, and identifying opportunities for value creation.
  • Partner with account teams and customer stakeholders to frame and solve complex business challenges using data-driven insights, enhancing customer ROI throughout their journey with Gong.
  • Develop detailed, quantitative business cases and ROI models clearly demonstrating Gong’s measurable impact on customer outcomes.
  • Analyze customer data to derive actionable insights, translating complex analysis into clear, compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain value engineering tools, frameworks, templates, and best practices, including sophisticated ROI and economic modeling.
  • Author insightful thought leadership content that clearly communicates Gong’s value proposition to customers and the broader market.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10-12+ years experience in value engineering, management consulting, business architecture, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success creating data-driven insights within B2B sales environments.
  • Proven experience designing financial models, ROI analyses, and value-driven narratives.
  • Extensive understanding of B2B sales processes, sales methodologies, pipeline management, and sales operations.
  • Expertise in software/SaaS business models, particularly Sales technology.
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business, Operations, Management, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM platforms, notably Salesforce.
  • Experience leveraging data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for generating compelling insights.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to engage effectively at executive and C-level.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguous environments, consistently delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong leadership skills: capable of articulating vision, aligning teams around common goals, and measuring performance against defined outcomes.
NICE TO HAVE
  • Prior experience specifically in Sales Enablement, Revenue Operations, or Customer Success roles.
  • Experience authoring thought leadership or public-facing content (blogs, whitepapers, webinars).
