What You Will Accomplish:

  • Insight Development & Decision Enablement: Own the end-to-end translation of risk data into actionable insights. Ensure analytical outputs are accurate, timely, and contextually relevant to support strategic decision-making, truth-finding, and business alignment.

  • Fraud Risk Strategy & Advisory: Leverage deep experience in fraud detection and mitigation to shape and challenge the company’s risk posture. Partner with engineering, product, and finance teams to assess threats, evaluate interventions, and design long-term controls that balance growth and protection.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a multi-disciplinary team spanning risk insights and payment compliance. Drive clarity of purpose, champion collaboration, and ensure accountability through clearly defined goals, regular coaching, and high-impact project execution.

  • Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary strategic interface across risk, finance, product, engineering, and legal. Navigate sophisticated conversations, align priorities, and influence senior leaders through compelling insight delivery and positive relationship building.

  • Reporting Infrastructure & Data Stewardship: Supervise the availability, reliability, and governance of dashboards and recurring reporting. Champion a culture of data integrity, visibility, and ownership within the team and across stakeholders.

What You Will Bring:

  • 8–10+ years of experience in risk strategy, analytics, compliance, or trust & safety, with at least 3 years in team leadership roles.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage across multiple domains.

  • Strong experience in presenting to and influencing senior executives through data-backed strategy recommendations.

  • Proficient in SQL and Python (or able to guide a technical team); strong command of BI tools and data storytelling.

  • Deep understanding of payment risk, regulatory compliance, and the operational tradeoffs between growth and control.

  • Proven success operating in sophisticated, fast-paced environments with cross-functional dependencies.

  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills.

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$162,000 - $216,300
