The Role & Responsibilities

As a manager, you will advise clients and team with professionals in client information, data, and technology, and / or strategic alliances with third parties to achieve strategic transformations and digital implementations. You will lead the delivery of client engagements, build client relationships, and lead team development. This will include generating new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions to present to internal and external clients. The breadth of client engagements and new business opportunities span across the wealth and asset management, retail and commercial banking, insurance, and capital markets industries

It is required to be bilingual (French/ English) to work in the Montreal office.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Experience and appetite for learning. We’re looking for individuals with relevant experience or education in financial services, technology, economics or other related fields. Typically, successful candidates have over 5 years of experience delivering projects through strategy, design, build, test, and delivery.
  • Proven experience in financial services consulting and/or project delivery, with a track record of managing client engagements and delivering results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills , with the ability to engage clients and team members
  • Manage the execution of client engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to EY's standards.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor in financial services.
  • Contribute to team development by sharing knowledge, mentoring staff and senior consultants, and supporting their professional growth.
  • Participate in business development activities, identifying new opportunities and crafting innovative proposals to expand EY's financial services footprint.
  • Ensure compliance with the regulatory and ethical standards pertinent to the financial services industry.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial mindset focused on identifying new business opportunities and driving new success outcomes for the team.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS, JD, etc.) or relevant professional certifications (CFA, CPA, PMP, etc.) preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in financial services or consulting
  • Expertise in financial services operations, technology systems, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Willingness to travel, as required by client assignments
  • Ideally bilingual (English and French)
