The Role & Responsibilities
As a senior manager, you will advise clients and team with professionals in client information, data and technology, and / or strategic alliances with third parties to achieve strategic transformations and digital implementations. You will lead the delivery of client engagements, build client relationships and lead team development. This will include generating new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions to present to internal and external clients. The breadth of client engagements and new business opportunities span across the wealth and asset management, retail and commercial banking, insurance, and capital markets industries

Required Experience & Skills:
- Architect and lead client projects that encompass FS lines of business strategies (e.g., Retail Banking, Wealth & Asset Management, Commercial Banking), operational enhancements, digital journeys, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Deep knowledge of various aspects of the value chain such as Sales & Distribution, Product, Operations, Risk & Compliance, etc.
- Propel EY's thought leadership and advance our financial services solutions via the creation of innovative frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Ensure you're at the industry's forefront by keeping a pulse on market trends, legislative adjustments, and technological breakthroughs influencing financial services industry.
- Nurture a culture of high performance by mentoring and directing team members, steering their career growth and advancement.
- Lead and manage complex client engagements related to strategy, operational effectiveness, client experience, digital transformation, and regulatory compliance.
- Continuous knowledge dedication on the industry's forefront by keeping a pulse on market tendencies, legislative adjustments, and technological breakthroughs influencing the wealth management domain.
- Possess an appetite for learning. We’re looking for individuals with relevant experience or education in financial services, business, technology or other related fields. Typically, successful candidates have 8+ years of experience delivering projects through strategy, design, build, test, and delivery.
- Showcase excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders.
- Understand at least one and/or many lines of business (e.g., Wealth Management) across Front, Middle and Back office functional capabilities and associated data & technology ecosystem, including leading application stacks.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS, JD, etc.) or relevant professional certifications (CFA, CPA, PMP, etc.) preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in financial services or consulting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Expertise in financial services operations, technology systems, and regulatory frameworks.
- Willingness to travel, as required by client assignments
- Ideally bilingual (English and French)
