Drive manufacturing teams to achieve established targets for daily going rate and on-time shipments as well as development and continuous improvement of key metrics
Define shop objectives to meeting business plans, capacity & headcount target, and key performance indicators
Ensure optimal use of resources and adherence to best safety practices
Conduct analysis and prepare reports on projects and process improvements as well as make countermeasures for timely completion of project goals
Build a strong, motivated team capable of consistently delivering high-quality products against aggressive production targets
Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & an environment of continuous learning and improvement
Ensure consistency in standards and documentation. Monitor for compliance as well as support and manage continuous improvement activities in safety, quality, cost, efficiency, and productivity objectives
What You’ll Bring
Engineering Degree, experience, 5+ year experience managing teams of people in a high-volume manufacturing setting, or equivalent
Experience with process improvement methodologies to optimize efficiency and throughput
Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing demands and meet tight deadlines.
In depth understanding of mechanical and standardized processes
Ability to command the english language, both written and verbal
Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail
Fluent with common MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
