What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Develop and implement cost management programs, including budget control, cost tracking, and forecasting during project execution
- Capture and manage change orders, ensuring accurate cost forecasting throughout the project
- Assist in developing project control processes, including change management, cost forecasting, risk management, and earned value, in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Create reports and dashboards to communicate cost performance to various teams and management levels
- Perform trend analysis to evaluate cost performance, identify risks, validate forecasts, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Develop cost reports and tools to inform decision-making, track project performance, and conduct ad-hoc cost studies to assess project viability
- Assist in preparing project funding requests, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements during project close-out
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of construction methods across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines
- Expertise in cost estimating processes for large-scale, multi-billion-dollar facilities
- High proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Experienced with Aconex, P6, Bluebeam, CAD, and other construction-related software
- Familiar with construction schedules and estimating resources like R.S. Means and Equipment Watch
- Ability to work within a high-performance, detail-oriented, and cross-functional team environment under tight deadlines
