AML Controls Manager
Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

• Leading a team to complete execution testing of designated controls

• Supporting additional reviews of designated controls

• Supporting control health of designated controls

• Perform reviews of completed test workbooks and results

• Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders

• Supporting process documentation creation and revision, including version control

• Review and analyze impact to regulatory applicability and mitigation when business controls are modified or deleted

• Lead/participate in cross-functional and enterprise-wide compliance projects, programs and initiatives as requested

• Support the oversight and revision of written documents such as team policies and desktop job aids

• Be intellectually curious to question the obvious, explore options, and seek to develop and implement efficiencies and process improvements

• Use strong verbal and written skills to communicate with key partners and leaders across the AML program

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or military experience

• At least 3 years of regulatory compliance experience, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) experience, risk management experience, or controls testing experience, or a combination

• At least 2 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal business clients

• At least 2 years of experience with Excel or Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree

• 2+ years of people leadership experience

• 5+ years of experience in legal, regulatory compliance, audit, or risk management

• 2+ years of experience in implementing and managing controls review assessments or controls testing functions

• Strong communication skills, including an ability to effectively explain controls and Enterprise Control Standard expectations

• Ability to influence business partners to prioritize risk management work

• Adaptable to the changing circumstances of a fast-paced technology company

• Experience in controls development, controls management, and reporting activities

McLean, VA: $146,100 - $166,700 for Risk Manager New Orleans, LA: $132,800 - $151,600 for Risk Manager Plano, TX: $132,800 - $151,600 for Risk Manager Richmond, VA: $132,800 - $151,600 for Risk Manager Wilmington, DE: $132,800 - $151,600 for Risk ManagerThis role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
