You’ll make an impact by:
  • Lead all aspects of the setup and operation of paint line equipment, including paint spraying, pretreatment, and waste treatment.
  • Develop and coordinate regular maintenance on paint line equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Be a key technical expert in providing support to the manufacturing lines, troubleshooting equipment hardware and software issues.
  • Support implementation of capital expenditures on digitalization and automation equipment for the factory.
  • Analyze impact of equipment failures on maintenance spending to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Generate or maintain standard operating procedures/work instructions (PM procedures, task lists, spare parts management, document control, maintenance strategies...).
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in equipment failures and repair techniques during root cause investigations (RCA).
  • Engage technically with vendors, contractors, and service providers to define scope of intervention and negotiate service contracts.
  • Promote continuous improvement activities and cost saving strategies to improve equipment availability, reliability, and operational stability.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing environment or paint line operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years of hands-on powder coating experience or similar experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining paint line equipment, including paint spraying, pretreatment, and waste treatment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a dedication to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership and training capabilities.
  • Proficiency in quality control procedures and documentation. Experience with ISO and UL compliance requirements.

  • The pay range for this position is $80k-$100k. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
