Responsibilities not limited to;
- Provide technical expertise on gas turbine systems, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze performance data and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies and procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and propose corrective actions.
- Offer training and guidance to operations and maintenance personnel.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on upgrade projects and new installations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for management and clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders on technical matters.
- Participate in project risk assessments and value engineering exercises.
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license or equivalent.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in gas turbine operations and maintenance, with at least 10 years in energy and power projects. Experience with multiple gas turbine manufacturers and models, will be preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of gas turbine systems and associated equipment.
- Knowledge of power plant operations and electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project management principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
