Your day to day:
- Design end-to-end international checkout product strategy and roadmap across different segment needs. Think platform first and build solutions that can scale globally across different markets and use-cases. Drive global prioritization with stakeholders considering our ambition, position and opportunity in different markets.
- Set the vision, product strategy and enablement of product teams to be fully autonomous in driving their respective areas.
- Accountable for setting and achieving objectives by working with Global Markets, Engineering, Finance, Analytics, and other stakeholders in key international markets.
- Serve as the single threaded leader for driving strategic checkout solutions for international markets. Drive cross functional alignment across other teams and stakeholders. Proactively identify bottle neck processes and resolve it upfront.
- Implement and drive processes that help deliver successful product initiatives by all team members across the product lifecycle (customer research, planning, implementation, go-to-market, and commercial readiness).
- Build deep international expertise across PayPal’s high priority markets – working with local teams to drive product strategy. Anticipate and understand market trends and build contingencies based on same.
- Build an empowered and motivated team and next in line leadership.
What you need to bring:
- 15+ years in international product management experience (in payments or e-commerce preferable)
7+ year leading and managing product teams (including building 0-1 products, scaling existing products etc.).- Ability to finely balance international product platforms and local regulatory and policy requirements.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Proven ability to rally teams, foster relationships with cross functional teams and drive alignment with stakeholders at all levels.
- Keen ability to thrive in ambiguity and simplify complex situations into simple next steps.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels
- Strong data driven product management skills.
