Job Description:
In this role, you willbe responsible forthe following.
Product strategy and vision:Deeply understand ourcustomers anddevelopan inspiringproduct visionfor how Venmo can help them.Assume responsibility for themerchant and (as relevant) consumerexperienceswe offertoday, andfind innovative ways to improve thoseand better serve our customers’ needs and jobs to be done in the future. Create and socialize the narrative within Venmo and PayPal more broadly to ensure buy-in and support for your visionacross the organization.
Product development and execution:Develop and executean ambitious product roadmapto make your vision a reality. Use qualitative and quantitate inputs to develop and refine our growth strategy and prioritize efforts.Operatewith urgency and focusto ship features that improve the customer experience in a meaningful and material way, and that change the growth trajectory of our business.Partner closely with Marketing and other go to market functions to drive product awareness and adoption.
Assume responsibility for all performance metrics, spanning revenue, margin, and customer adoption and engagement. You will be expected to deliver aggressive growth for the business, and to work with counterparts toestablishtargets, get buy-in for your plan to hit those targets, and secure the necessary investments to deliver on that plan.Collaborate withthefinance and analytics teams tomonitorongoingproductperformance,andmake strategic adjustments as neededto deliver results and meet or exceed targets.
Leadership and cross-functional partnership:Createa working environment thatfosters innovation, speed, and impact. Prioritize speed of execution while also holding a high bar for quality.Build strong partnerships across cross-functional teams (Design, Engineering, DataScience, Finance, Marketing/GTM, Risk,Compliance,etc) to ensure alignment and deliver outstanding results for our customers.
What you need to bring:
track recordof successfully launching and scalingproductsthat serve business / enterprise customers.
problem solvingskills,andanability to make quick decisions in complex environmentswhere there arereal tradeoffs (e.g., across product lines, geographies, pricing levers,etc)
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive results across all levels of the organization.
First principles, data-driven thinking. Youleverageanalytics to drive sound decision making,yet you arealsoadept atdevelopinghypotheses and takingprincipled risks in areas where there are unknowns.
2+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership roleideallywithin theconsumer,fintech or financial services industries.
Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced, performance-focused environments.
Strong understanding ofconsumer products and ecosystems
Demonstrated experience in managing complex app ecosystemsanddesign systems.
Passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends and advancements.

$144800 to $319000
