About the Role

As a Vendor Management Specialist, your primary focus will be on meticulously managing daily, weekly, and monthly site performance metrics. You'll analyze KPI trends, extract insights, and pinpoint problem areas within our managed businesses. Additionally, you'll take charge of coordinating cross-functional projects, ensuring seamless documentation, and driving data-driven analyses to identify and address issues effectively.

Your Impact in Role:
  • Track day-to-day vendor performance metrics
  • Interact and follow-up with internal teams and third-party vendors to extract information and close action items.
  • Report critical call-outs and insights for business improvement
  • Execute performance improvement projects across vendors and businesses
  • Conduct root cause analysis of identified problem areas within vendor operations
  • Build and maintain working relationships between Uber and Vendor partners
  • Coordinate and organize cross-functional projects with robust documentation
  • Proactively identify problem areas and drive KPI improvements through data analysis
  • Draft stakeholder communications for effective dissemination of insights
  • Be the governance arm of the team keep all commitment on track and ensure closure on actions
  • Consolidate communications from other leaders and present in a digestable manner

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Google Workplace suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Uber products and business operations in the US & Canada market
  • Previous experience in customer experience delivery
  • Self-starter with proactive problem-solving abilities
  • Data analysis and basic SQL understanding (preferred but not required)
  • Stakeholder management capability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expert proficiency in Google Workplace suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs)
  • Excellent stroy-telling and presentation design skills
  • Project management and or change management certification
  • Demonstrated success in driving customer experience delivery for Uber products across multiple markets, preferably US & Canada
  • Proven track record in project coordination
  • Strong experience in data analysis
  • Familiarity with contact center servicing and adept at managing vendor relations
  • Proficient in SQL
