Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Conducts ongoing vendor research, assessment, and evaluation while monitoring emerging sustainability trends, programs, and issues.
- Develops requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.
- Identifies meaningful metrics to track, interpret them, and provide course corrections at the program or feature team level when necessary.
- Gathers, organize, analyze, and maintain complex sustainability data and metrics from various internal and external sources and platforms.
- Collaborates in strategizing architecture and solutions to improve consumer interactions, including consumer-specific proof of concepts (POCs).
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Advanced Database SQL experience and proficiency in data transformation tools such as Alteryx or Informatica is mandatory. Ability to work with API, JSON, and XML is also required.
- Knowledge of reporting tools like Tableau, Business Objects, Qlik Sense, and familiarity with common programming languages such as Python or R.
- Experience in the full systems development lifecycle, from project initiation and requirements definition to user acceptance testing and implementation.
- Familiarity with data management, data modeling, and reference data concepts is mandatory.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior business and technology executives.

- Experience with ESG Data Knowledge
- Experience working in reference data platforms and/or with external market vendor products
