What you'll be doing:

  • Assist senior engineers in the design and development of mixed-signal ICs

  • Contribute to circuit design, simulation, architecture of digital blocks

  • Perform basic digital circuit simulations using industry-standard tools

  • Assist in the development of test plans and participate in lab testing of digital circuits

  • Support documentation efforts for design specifications and test results

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on circuit performance

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mixed-signal design

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on digital design or equivalent experience

  • 2 plus years of experience in IC design (internships or academic projects are valuable)

  • Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design principles

  • Familiarity with CMOS fabrication processes and device physics

  • Basic proficiency in circuit simulation tools (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso, HSPICE)

  • Knowledge of Verilog or VHDL for digital design

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience with mixed-signal building blocks (e.g., ADCs, DACs, PLLs)

  • Familiarity with layout tools and techniques

  • Exposure to mixed-signal design through advanced coursework or research projects

  • Basic understanding of signal processing concepts

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl)
