Job responsibilities
- Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets
- Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth
- Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
- Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
- Monitors market trends, conducts competitive analysis, and identifies opportunities for product differentiation
- Leads resolution execution for the specific identified Product led projects and CCOR (Compliance, Conduct & Operational Risk) actions owned by CIB Payments Product
- Partners and collaborates with various Product, Ops, Tech and Credit Risk teams to drive and manage strategic outcomes on identified Product led projects and actions
- Leads identified scope of CCOR action(s), for mobilizing and establishing recommendations and input into Payments Policy governance helping with strategic governance and oversight of Payments Funds Control risk management
- Identifies, influences and mobilizes a macro level recommendation/ input on Product future design and policy governance
- Influences and adjusts overall payments funds control decisioning and governance, mitigating the gaps and risks associated with the failure and potential risk from a credit risk perspective
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
- Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
- In-depth knowledge of the payments markets and the specifics of each jurisdiction
- Entrepreneurial and execution-oriented self-starter who takes initiative and is able to develop ideas and deliver on strategic objectives in efficient and effective ways
- Strong leadership skills, demonstrating experience of operating successfully within larger cross functional organizations
- Understanding of complex client requirements and adaptations of existing capabilities to meet client needs, including product solutioning, risk framework, benefit analysis
- Management of Product risk appetite based decisioning and governance across payment flows/ verticals
- Advanced business acumen and commercialization skills

- Recognized thought leader within a related field
- Ability to influence and drive change across wider organization outside direct reporting
- Expertise in Payments Domain with experience in owning and managing risk appetite and corrective action plan resolution
- Familiarity with JPMC Payment Architecture and Design across various payment rails
- Working knowledge of credit risk policy and overall Payment Risk Framework
