What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Acting as the primary customer contact to receive and accurately enter customer releases and/or purchase orders within 24 hours from receipt.
  • Performing contract reviews to ensure alignment between JE and Customer commercial details, including part number/rev level, selling price, Harmonized Tariff Code, Incoterm, minimum order quantity, payment terms, end use, and other pertinent info.
  • Interfacing with sister plants to order parts to production based on agreed-upon lead-time, obtaining confirmed ship dates from the factory, and ensuring it meets customer requirements considering transit time.
  • Reviewing customer requirements and collaborating with Key Account Managers on special contract requests and reviews, quality issues, and commercial agreements.
  • Managing all customer commercial issues and driving to resolution to build and/or maintain positive relationships with key customers.
  • Ensuring that processes for export compliance are consistently adhered to and issues escalated as required.
  • Understanding punitive import tariffs that may impact customers/part numbers based on product origin and quoted Incoterm to the customer.
  • Managing and maintaining accurate customer master records and item master records.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Responsible, independent, self-starter worker with basic corporate structure understanding.
  • Keen follow-up skills with cross functional teams and external customers, ability to multitask and reprioritize as necessary.
  • Calm, cool demeanor to handle escalated customers/
  • Bachelor's Degree or related experience in purchasing, production planning, logistics, material control, customer service, or account management is helpful.
  • Sharp problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • ERP system knowledge is a plus but not required if the candidate has the ability to adapt and quickly learn system processes.
  • Strong Excel background.
  • 1-2 years of experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Able to work onsite at our Vandalia, OH facility
