As a Partner Account Executive, you will also need to build trust, credibility and relevance with Partners’ sales teams to increase the number of active Partner sellers of Cisco solutions. Success will require a strong baseline of experience in customer-centric sales of Cisco solutions and the related ability to coach by example (adopting a “train, instruct, position” methodology for Partner AM success).

Role & Responsibilities

You will influence Partners’ business transformation while developing and promoting Partners’ unique value propositions, sales & operational processes, and internal consumption of Cisco solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years Sales, Account, or Partner experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience working with channel partners, distributors, or within a technological ecosystem
  • Experience in managing indirect sales models and driving revenue through partner channels.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets and building strong channel relationships.
  • Understanding of Cisco’s partner ecosystem
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of Sales and Channel dynamics, with prior experience as a Commercial, Enterprise, or SLED Account Manager preferred.
  • Ability to build trust and credibility with partner principals and sales teams, inspiring confidence as a sales leader who can train, mentor, and support partners in positioning Cisco solutions during customer engagements.
  • Strong listening, recommendation, and influence skills with Partner executives are critical. A robust network of executive relationships is ideal. The role requires strategic thinking and effective communication and influence abilities.
