Your key responsibilities

  • Attends network meetings, assists with sponsorship relationships and events (internal and external)
  • Create a forum of knowledge sharing to drive awareness and continuous improvement
  • Design, project manage and facilitate cross-service line workshops, focus groups, listening sessions and presentations across ranks
  • Consult with Talent Attraction and Acquisition team to enable and equip recruiters and hiring managers with the tools to attract diverse talent
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, community organizations, consultants, and suppliers
  • Create inclusive content and resources for EY employees on internal website
  • Compile and track content and statistics for client proposals (RFPs)
  • Attend external conferences, roundtables, sponsorship events and forums to represent EY and stay connected with the broader community
  • Maintain the sharepoint and mailing lists


Skills and attributes for success

  • A minimum of 2-4 years related job experience in DEI or Human Resources
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong practical knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organization at all levels
  • Strong team worker with ability to coordinate and work as ‘one team’
  • Demonstrated understanding of racism and intersectionality, and differing elements of diversity such as identities including gender identity, sex, religion, sexual orientation, ability/disability, family status etc.
  • Experience and skills in managing difficult conversations and dealing with confidential and sensitive information
  • Experience in training and development, with the ability to curate learning materials for group presentations and facilitate virtual or in-class workshops
  • Demonstrate project and change management skills, and be able to manage several projects and deadlines concurrently
  • This role involves interaction with clients operating nationally and globally where fluency in French and English is required. Bilingualism in both French and English is therefore a requirement of this role

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $49,200 to $73,800. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
