You'll be hunting & selling Akamai solutions to new accounts (Direct & Indirect) within the Israeli market. You will be responsible for the full customer life cycle. Working with marketing on demand generation to deal closure, customer management & potential future upsell. You'll be supported by cross-functional internal teams, ensuring success in building customer loyalty.

As a Major Account Executive New Accounts, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying, developing and qualifying leads, driving sales opportunities through cold-calling, direct selling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns and via social media.
  • Fostering long term relationships through positioning valued solutions to meet your customers and partners unique needs.
  • Being accountable for your sales target and overachieving on that sales target
  • Maintaining sales pipeline, accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting.
  • Working with integrated cross-functional teams to ensure your customers and Akamai partners, realise the Value of their Akamai services.
  • Working closely with a Sales Engineer and ensuring their time is used optimally.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have relevant sales experience of at least 5 years working with Israeli organizations and partners.
  • Have exceptional negotiating skills.
  • Have experience selling enterprise-class technology software, SaaS, internet-based technology & potentially Compute solutions to enterprise class companies.
  • Demonstrate experience of account management with short term and long-term planning, selling value at C-Level.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of technology and the Internet, including cyber security & Compute.
  • Have experience working in a collaborative, results oriented environment building executive level relationships with high-level customers.
  • Have experience working in a collaborative, results oriented environment building good relationships with local partners.
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills.
