As a Major Account Executive, you will be developing the assigned territory and acquiring new customers. You will be maximizing new bookings, logos via a combination of assigned target list & business development.
As a Major Account Executive New Accounts, you will be responsible for:
- Building & executing territory plans. Developing ecosystem of partners, consultants and influencers
- Articulating Akamai's value proposition to C-Level executives and corporate decision makers
- Developing a strategic sales plan to create/manage a high-volume sales pipeline through successful execution
- Working with integrated account teams to develop the assigned territory and build awareness about Akamai's offerings.
- Managing contract negotiations to ensure customer satisfaction and adoption of Akamai technologies

- Have 10 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree.
- Have relevant industry connects with customers, partners and consultants.
- Have been successful in consultative selling cloud-based offerings in enterprise including FSI, Hi-tech & Large enterprises
- Possess understanding of the basic concepts of Web Security, Enterprise security, SASE & leading Cloud Service Providers.
