In this role you will

• Work closely with product owners, developers, and other designers to create user-centric and AI-powered solutions that meet the needs and expectations of our customers.
• Guide the product direction from a design perspective and contribute to SAP design system.
• Be involved in all phases of the design-led-development process, from research and ideation to prototyping and testing.
• Have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with other UX experts across SAP.
• Engage with end users and customers to understand their needs and collaborate on concepts for new functionality.
• Demonstrate and validate main user flows in interactive prototypes and run fast learning cycles to improve these concepts.
• Clearly communicate design decisions and research findings to different audiences such as engineers, managers or customers.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interaction Design, Product Design, User Experience Design or other related fields.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in application or system design for software solutions, as well as a track record of shipping high quality software products.
• You should be proficient with one of the industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Mural, Sketch, etc.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori design system and guidelines.
• Experienced in user research methodologies including generative and evaluative methods and how to apply user research at different stages of the product development cycle, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and field studies.
• Analyze research data to identify user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to integrate research findings into design solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UX research and design trends, and incorporate best practices into your work
• Excellent skills in visualizing and communicating your concepts and ideas.
• Willingness to continuously broaden your horizon on design methodologies, technologies, upcoming trends, and business scenarios.
• Team player with very good communication skills.
• Fluency both written and spoken in English and German.
