What you'll do

• Planning & facilitating user research activities (e.g. qualitative 1:1 moderated usability test sessions, quantitative unmoderated online studies, ideation workshops with customers, etc.)
• Helping prepare, build and analyze automatic unmoderated user studies (similar to complex online surveys, but with interactive prototype tasks, click tests, card sortings, etc.) with tools such as UserZoom, UserTesting, Qualtrics etc.
• Communicating effectively within UX- and product management / development community
• Supporting internal and external user research communities
• Taking care of research related operations topics such as study participants logistics, preparing results slide decks, etc.
• Helping measure UX goals and metrics as well as free-text field comments
• Analyzing existing data (e.g. tracking data, customer feedback data) to generate insights and hypotheses to inform further research

What you bring

• Currently enrolled in a university as a student of applied science (e.g. HCI, applied psychology, computer linguistics, software engineering, interaction design, etc.)
• Experience applying research methods (can also be research other than UX research)
• Experience with experimental design, research planning, facilitating studies /experiments, statistical analysis, reporting
• Experience working self-reliantly, managing small projects, working with a multitude of stakeholders, taking care of operational & administrative work
• Language skills: Fluent in English, fluent in German (in spoken and written form)
