In this role, you’re expected to:

  • Assist in developing and executing the firm's reward strategy.

  • Ensure that reward practices are compliant with the relevant regulatory recommendations and requirements.

  • ManageCompensation/payroll/Benefit'sadministration function staff budget and planning.

  • Manage the key areas of rewards, benefits and pensions and liaises with third parties to develop a consistent best practice approach.

  • Formulate policy initiatives and partners with HR and/or directly with the Business, CES and other external Consultants to implement and deliver projects.

  • Assist with managing Citi’s Health Care programs including Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, Vision, Trip/Transit, Flexible Spending Accounts, and Retiree Medical Programs

  • Handle and resolve escalated individual participant issues.

  • Contribute to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business.

  • Handle day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

  • Provide advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business.

  • Perform training on Citi’s benefits for HR colleagues and employees.

  • Ensure consistent compensation policies and practices are applied across all employees.

  • Apply technical expertise in Compensation principles, practices and procedures in the completion of assignments. Primary focus of role is on day-to-day operational execution, with occasional contribution to broader planning within area of expertise.

  • Manage market data process including surveys, individual benchmarking, and presentation of results to Senior Managers

  • Conduct benchmarking, market, and internal equity analysis

  • Lead Project management and program execution for new compensation policies and pay management across the business

  • Lead coordination of annual compensation process for salary review and incentive awards

  • Partner with regional colleagues to ensure global consistency

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel

  • Ability to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple priorities.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Knowledge of relevant employment regulation within total reward

  • Bachelor’s/Universitydegree, Master’s degree preferred
