What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Serve as liaison between the Low Voltage Test Engineering team and Product Management
- Create, maintain, and communicate schedules and plans for developing and deploying custom manufacturing equipment to meet start of production and ramp
- Responsible for coordinating test strategy and test station qualification, while also reporting effectively on status, blockers, and changes to plan of record
- Standardize and optimize the test processes across the entire manufacturing production line, including In-Circuit Testing, Firmware Flashing and End Of Line Testing
- Work with contract manufacturers on test related standard operating procedures, production line requirements, and cycle time/UPH
- Collaborate with suppliers and engineering teams in developing test process flow, equipment/fixture designs, process controls, validation plans, and provide onsite support as needed
- Track build plan and capacity of deployed equipment at our factories to ensure demand is met
- Track resourcing of projects and drive resource balancing between different program priorities
- Advise and develop systems and best practices for communication and change management
- Complete appropriate documentation and ensure accuracy of data across Tesla systems (Enovia, Confluence, SharePoint, JIRA, Polarion)
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, with evidence of exceptional ability
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for managing change
- Demonstrated experience creating, maintaining, and communicating schedules Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
- Exposure to electrical test instruments (DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers, etc.)
- Understanding of design cycle and design problem solving processes
- Able to work in different time zones to support global projects
