Serve as liaison between the Low Voltage Test Engineering team and Product Management
Create, maintain, and communicate schedules and plans for developing and deploying custom manufacturing equipment to meet start of production and ramp
Responsible for coordinating test strategy and test station qualification, while also reporting effectively on status, blockers, and changes to plan of record
Standardize and optimize the test processes across the entire manufacturing production line, including In-Circuit Testing, Firmware Flashing and End Of Line Testing
Work with contract manufacturers on test related standard operating procedures, production line requirements, and cycle time/UPH
Collaborate with suppliers and engineering teams in developing test process flow, equipment/fixture designs, process controls, validation plans, and provide onsite support as needed
Track build plan and capacity of deployed equipment at our factories to ensure demand is met
Track resourcing of projects and drive resource balancing between different program priorities
Advise and develop systems and best practices for communication and change management
Complete appropriate documentation and ensure accuracy of data across Tesla systems (Enovia, Confluence, SharePoint, JIRA, Polarion)
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, with evidence of exceptional ability
Experience in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for managing change
Demonstrated experience creating, maintaining, and communicating schedules Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
Exposure to electrical test instruments (DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers, etc.)
Understanding of design cycle and design problem solving processes
Able to work in different time zones to support global projects
