It’s truly Day 1 for our team in AWS Supply Chain. This is your opportunity to be a founding engineer on a new team that’s building a suite of AWS Apps and Services to tackle a huge new problem space. You’ll be an integral part of building services that leverage cutting edge AWS technologies like SageMaker, Forecast, Athena, QuickSight, Glue, and more.As an early member of this team, you’ll wear many hats. You’ll help design the overall architecture, you’ll own large chunks of design and development work for various components, and you’ll establish the technology processes and practices that will lay the groundwork for the organization as it grows.As a software developer you can expect to:
Deal with ambiguity in solving a complex problem space that has not been tackled at this scale before.
Be a key contributor in setting the teams technical direction, best practices, and plan for the years aheadBack-end engineers will build the core backbone infrastructure and platform of services leveraging key AWS capabilities and cutting edge ML, AI, and analytics models.

- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react

- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
