Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Data Science or related field or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of industry related experience, or comparable experience working in collaborative environments
- You have experience writing high-performance server software on Linux/Unix
- You are proficient in two of following languages: C/C++, Go, Python, Java, Scala
Preferred Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Data Science or related field or equivalent work experience
- You have experience with realtime ingestion pipelines
- Analyzing search ranking and relevance requirements issues and opportunities
- Building machine-learned models for search relevance ranking query understanding and questioning
- Experience with utilizing PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX for training and deploying deep learning models
- You have experience with RESTful services and supporting production environments
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
