What You’ll Do
  • Develop data-driven insights: Build and maintain dashboards to track category performance, assortment depth, and sales trends, enabling data-backed decision-making.
  • Design and implement assortment frameworks: Create methodologies to define minimum viable assortments per category, helping catalog and commercial teams prioritize and optimize selection.
  • Collaborate across teams: Work closely with merchandising, catalog, and commercial teams to ensure alignment on assortment strategies and seamless execution.
  • Optimize time-to-market: Streamline product creation and listing processes to accelerate the introduction of essential and trending products.
  • Drive strategic category growth: Analyze sales performance and market trends to identify opportunities for expansion and improved product availability.
  • Lead end-to-end projects: Develop scalable assortment methodologies that enhance operational efficiency and improve cross-team collaboration.
  • Plan for seasonality and trends: Anticipate and execute assortment plans that align with evolving customer preferences and seasonal demand.
What You’ll Need
  • 3-5 years of experience in category management, merchandising, operations, or strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience leading data-driven projects and optimizing operational processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of retail/e-commerce assortment optimization and category management principles.
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience to align strategies and implement solutions effectively.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to drive multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable strategies and drive business impact.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing creative solutions for complex challenges.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills, building trust-based relationships across teams.
  • Strong business judgment and critical thinking, using data to inform quick, strategic decisions.
