As ain Wholesale Lending Services (WLS) at JPMorgan Chase, you will be in a senior leadership role responsible for leading a lending services organization primarily based in Chicago, Illinois. The North America (NA) Loan & Agency group is responsible for a broad spectrum of responsibilities of an operational nature in relation to syndicated credit facilities where the firm has been appointed Administrative Agent. You will be responsible for providing high-quality service to multiple internal and external parties. In a complex, sophisticated and evolving lending environment, you must be dynamic, highly visible, multi-faceted and able to meet deadlines.


Job Responsibilities

  • Lead a core production team of approximately 5 employees responsible for supporting ongoing Loan Servicing functions (borrowings, payments, cash management and reconciliation, loan administrative inquiries, client documentation review, etc.)
  • Build and cultivate strong cross-LOB relationships with key stakeholders across the firm, operating as an ambassador for Loan & Agency and WLS more broadly
  • Support various lines of business across the Commercial Bank, Corporate & Investment Bank, and Asset & Wealth Management
  • Act as an escalation contact for both client and syndicate members (bank and non-bank lenders)
  • Maintain strong oversight of the risk & control environment; representing WLS in various firm-wide risk forums, audit cycles, and operational risk deep dives
  • Identify and spur implementation of technology initiatives and operational process changes to meet the requirement of the wholesale lending businesses and clients
  • Partner with Operational Excellence team to spur meaningful and strategic change such as process improvements, product governance and client experience enhancements

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • 3+ years financial services experience gained at a top tier financial institution
  • 3+ years commercial loan experience
  • Outstanding leadership qualities
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong client service focus
  • Acute awareness of operational risks occurring throughout the lending lifecycle
  • Proven track record in thinking/acting strategically to influence complex business decisions globally

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Syndicated loan product experience, including LIQ experience
  • Experience managing and developing high-performance teams through continuous training and dynamic coaching
  • Ability to lead/spur execution; methodical approach to identifying and solving issues
  • Aptitude to ensure timely group delivery and execution of all daily controls/adherence to KPI targets
  • Ability to foster a collaborative team environment within and across functional organizations
  • Strong presentation skills to senior management forums, executive committees & control groups
  • Excellent organizational and influencing skills to spur and implement change across teams & regions

*This is a hybrid role which requires going into the office 3 days a week with 2 days flexibility to work from home, which is subject to change.
