Responsibilities
Process Engineers work across technologies such as: ChemicalVapor Deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition, Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition, Anneal and Implant. Responsibilities include:
cutting-edgeprocesses used to manufacture the most-advanced semiconductor chips, many of which are inside everyday electronic devices
Design both hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyze data with statistics and compile reports with high level conclusions on technically challenging process engineering experiments
Perform hardware characterization on a variety of advanced systems andprovideguidance to design engineering authority, within safety guidelines
Troubleshoot a variety of complex problems, perform multiple root causeanalysisand resolve a variety ofdifficult processengineering and customer product issues
Generate internal and external documentation for products,presentationsand technical reports
Interact with customers to resolve a variety of difficult processengineering issues, up to including oral presentations to customers
Requirements
Graduating with aDoctoratein Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics,Nanotechnologiesor related field
Demonstrable breadth ofexpertisein semiconductor technologies
Able to solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions
Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Communicates complex ideas, anticipatespotentialobjectionsand persuades others to adopt a different point of view
